Working conditions for PPA porcelain epoxy grout
Make sure there’s no rain planned for the day. Make sure the paving is clean and dry before the epoxy grout application is started.
Ideal weather conditions
From 10° – 15° we recommend heating the grout tubes in a bucket of boiling hot water for approximately 10 minutes. We don’t recommend using PPA epoxy grout to in temperatures lower than 10° due to grout lightening in color and the grout becoming too stiff to smooth along the joints, also the tubes could split.

Why did we develop PPA Porcelain Epoxy Grout?
Over the past few years, the paving industry has seen a big rise in the popularity of porcelain paving and tiles. However, there was no new innovation in grouting products to meet this new market.
Everyone needed to use the already existing grouts for porcelain, or they use a brushing material BUT they never work. So we took matters into our own hands. A few months ago we launched PPA Porcelain Epoxy Grout with 5 different colours available Light Grey / Ivory / Black / Biscuit/Anthracite.
A new way of interior and exterior grouting to suit a new and evolving porcelain market. The feedback so far has been amazing and we are so delighted with how it has been received.
PPA Epoxy Grout
Cement Grout
PPA Epoxy Grout Quick overview
Pros
• Low porosity features, meaning it is not possible for bacteria, mildew or mould access the area beneath the surface
• It’s highly resistant to breakage, stains, and abrasions
• It is the right option for light-coloured grouts since it is easy to clean
• Epoxy grout is highly resistant to chemicals, hence the right choice for substantial commercial, industrial and commercial
• It is the best option for harsh locations where there’s regular use of harsh chemicals such as schools, healthcare, and commercial kitchens
• It features consistent colour
• Epoxy grout is a waterproof grout for tiling because of its impermeable nature of plastic. Therefore, this explains why it’s not recommended to seal epoxy grout
• It is the right choice since it cannot scratch the delicate metal, marble, or glass tiles
• It has an excellent bond strength
• Epoxy needs low maintenance compared to cement grout.
|
Cons
• It goes at a relatively high cost compared to cement grouts
• There are high chances for it to ruin porous tiles such as natural stones. The epoxy resins are likely to soak into the unglazed tiles or natural stones’ pores, and it’s hard to remove them (we don’t recommend using epoxy grout for this application)

Each tub of Anti Bonding Wax will cover approximately 50m2.
-
Does Porcelain Epoxy Grout have a shiny appearance?
In some cases may initially have a slightly glossy appearance, but this will tone down after a few weeks to a matte finish.
-
Can our Porcelain Epoxy Grout be used on any type of joint?
PPA Epoxy Grout can be used only on a surface where the finishing scraper can be smoothly pulled across the top of the paving to scrape off the excess. It cannot be used on paving where the edge of the stone has a handcuff finish. If its a natural stone we would recommend using a tape to prevent any staining, but it’s not recommend to use on natural stone products.

That’s awesome! PPA epoxy grout really does make a huge difference in both appearance and durability, especially with porcelain paving. It fills in the gaps so neatly and helps prevent stains or water damage to grout line.
